Core Exchange Program

We may offer a Core Exchange Program for select steering wheel products. This allows customers to receive a refurbished steering wheel in advance in exchange for returning their original steering wheel (“core”).

1. Core Deposit

• A refundable core deposit may be required at the time of purchase

• The deposit amount will be clearly stated on the product page

• This deposit is refunded once an acceptable core is received and inspected

2. Core Return Requirements

To qualify for a refund of the core deposit:

• The core must be returned within [Insert timeframe – recommended: 14–30 days] of delivery

• The core must be:

  • Structurally intact (no broken frame)

  • Not heavily modified

  • Free of severe damage (burns, cracks, missing major components)

  • please contact us if you feel your core does not meet acceptable standards.

We reserve the right to determine whether a returned core meets acceptable standards.

3. Non-Return or Late Return

• If the core is not returned within the specified timeframe, the deposit is forfeited

• No exceptions will be made for late returns unless agreed upon in writing

4. Rejected Cores

If a returned core does not meet acceptable standards:

• The core deposit will not be refunded

• We may, at our discretion, return the rejected core to the customer at the customer’s expense

• Core must be like-for-like

5. Shipping Responsibility

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated

• We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method

• We are not responsible for lost or damaged cores during return shipping

6. Processing Time

• Core refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after inspection

7. Agreement

By purchasing a product that includes a core exchange, you agree to all terms outlined in this section.
